After being awake with leg cramps, and
then with banging noises and a drill nearby, I was so used to waking up and
going back to sleep that I didn't bother to look at my clock. It was a shock to
hear the Captain's midday announcement!
I made it to the last half of the samba lesson (hard work, fast dance) and then lunch with other dancers before starting packing. I normally don't start this job until post-afternoon tea, but this time I had most of it done before afternoon tea.
Sod's law: as I was getting ready for dinner my moisturiser ran out - and of course the spare bottle was neatly packed at the bottom of the suitcase. Digging through everything was such fun that I did it again after dinner, when I discovered that I'd packed my toothpaste. Despite all of this, I had both suitcases outside of my door before the dancing session. That's a first for me!
The dancing ended very early, before 11pm, so we could make sure we'd put our suitcases out on time.
